Sound Design + Musical Storytelling
Story
Set in a quiet seaside town, the story follows a struggling pianist who has lost her drive, and a seagull she rescues by chance. It is a story of renewal, of remembering what inspires you, and how small encounters with nature can quietly guide you through creative doubt.
Context
Released on cassette under an independent label in 2018. The first in my Sound Library series, I was inspired by the storybook recordings of Laura Simms and created the series as an exercise in emotive and imaginative sound storytelling.
Process
I selected my discarded piano sketches and field recordings wove their emotional threads into a sound collage, made some artwork, animations, and poetry, to go with it, and then released a limited number of physical copies in two cassette runs.

Live Soundscape + Radio Performance
Context
Created during the pandemic as a live special for Manila Community Radio, this series explored sound as a space for escape, imagination, and storytelling during a time of collective uncertainty.
Process
For the hour-long broadcast, I blended composition,
real-time sampling, spatial audio, drones, environmental input, archival recordings, and directed pre-recorded
voice performances into an evolving narrative soundscape.
Notes
Aside from the intro, these segments are the ones
I most enjoyed building in my bedroom studio with my sound makers and voice collaborators. The narratives
were improvised from a loose poem and emotional framework I shared. The challenge (and joy!) was shaping those fragments into something whole.
